Job Bank
Graduating students from ABC's grant-funded training programs in baking skills and culinary arts are job-ready for entry level employment, and companies can call the ABC for referrals when searching to fill job vacancies. Our job bank is managed by the Consortium for Worker Education and can match many different jobs to job seekers. Businesses can call in job orders or their employment needs. Contact Maria Diaz (718) 392-0025 ext. 105 for more details.

Food From New York
Food From New York (FFNY) is an economic development initiative that seeks to create new jobs, nurture new businesses and promote growing companies in New York City’s food industry. FFNY has been launched in partnership with the New York Industrial Retention Network (NYIRN), the Industrial & Technology Assistance Corporation (ITAC), numerous food service businesses and the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union.

Corporate Team Building (Not Intended for Bread Bakers!)
The word "company" comes form the Latin "one who shares bread," and we can turn our baking facility into a (company) team building arena to enhance the dynamics of the group by using new and different media. Working with a qualified instructor, your team will learn how to make French baguettes or Italian ciabatta, using correct time sequencing and proper baking procedures with all the fun and challenge bread-making brings.

Kitchen Rental View Flyer
Our 5,000 square feet production facility is made available to small businesses during hours when it is not used for training. As a mechanism to assist small operations to grow, we have partnered with Mi Kitchen Es Su Kitchen and LaGuardia Community College Small Business Development Center, offering the production facility at a nominal fee and bringing small business development courses to tenants and graduates of the ABC.
